What we collect and why

We use your ChatGPT sign-in identifier and email to associate your application with your account. We collect the profile details you submit to assess mentor fit, communicate about your application and prepare a mentor directory. Please do not include confidential employer material, identity documents, financial account information or sensitive personal data in free-text fields.

Who can see your information

You and the portal founder can access your full application. Applicants cannot view one another’s applications. Pending, declined and withdrawn applications do not appear in the public directory. If you provide publication consent and the founder approves your application, the directory displays your name, title, company if supplied, LinkedIn link, location, years of experience, specialties, services, target roles, introduction and indicative rate. Your email, motivation, availability and review notes remain private.

Storage and service providers

The portal uses hosted application infrastructure from ChatGPT Sites and Cloudflare to sign visitors in, run the service and store applications. Information may be processed outside Canada. Do not assume Canada-only storage. We do not sell application information.

Updates, withdrawal and deletion

Sign in to update or withdraw your application. Editing a profile returns it to review and removes it from the directory until approved again. Withdrawing removes the public listing but keeps the application record so you can resubmit. For permanent deletion or to ask about access and corrections, email the operator. We intend to review inactive applications after 12 months and remove information no longer needed. This review is manual, not an automatic deletion feature.

Peer practice, workspaces and video

When you schedule a practice session, your display name, selected track, business area, target role, industry sector and time are used to match you with a peer or create an invitation. Your partner can access shared notes, worksheet content, session chat, the saved meeting link and session feedback. Your email is not shared through the practice interface. Friend invitation links are intended for one recipient. Do not post them publicly unless you want another signed-in user to join.

Browser video is an optional beta feature. It requests camera and microphone access only when you choose to enable it. Media travels directly between participants and is not recorded by this portal. Cloudflare STUN helps establish the connection. Connection metadata, including network addresses, is visible to your peer and stored briefly for signalling. Signals older than five minutes are excluded from retrieval and removed when that session is accessed. Some networks require a relay service, which is not configured. Use an external meeting link if browser video cannot connect. External meeting services apply their own terms and privacy practices.

Session history, written feedback and learning goals remain available to the participants. The founder does not routinely see practice workspaces through the application review dashboard. Contact the operator to request removal of practice data. Practice is free during this pilot. Scores reflect peer feedback and do not certify competence or predict hiring outcomes.

Application and founding offer

Applying is free and does not guarantee approval, clients, earnings or referrals. We may ask for a conversation or sample coaching session to review your suitability. The proposed founding commission is 15% for the first three months of paid mentoring, followed by 20%. Paid mentor booking, checkout and payout features are not active. We will agree session scope, fees, processing costs and cancellation terms before paid mentoring begins. Submitting an application does not authorize a charge.

Professional boundaries

This is a career coaching service. Mentors must accurately describe their experience, respect employer policies and confidentiality, and use original practice materials. An employer name does not imply employer endorsement. Financial planning mentoring concerns careers and interview preparation, not personalised investment or financial advice.

Communication and browser storage

Review feedback is available in the application dashboard. Automatic confirmation and status emails are not currently sent. The service uses authentication cookies needed for sign-in. This portal does not add advertising trackers or marketing subscriptions.
